Removing The Server Top Cover And Bezel - IBM 6000R - Netfinity - 8682 Hardware Maintenance Manual

The power control button on the device and the power
switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical
current supplied to the device. The device also might
have more than one power cord. To remove all electri-
cal current from the device, ensure that all power cords
are disconnected from the power source.

Removing the server top cover and bezel

Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 63.
The following illustration shows how to remove the top cover
and bezel from the server.
Note: The illustrations in this document might differ slightly
from your hardware.

1. Lift the plastic cover-release latch near the edge of the
top cover.
