traffic and crosswinds, contributing positively to tow
vehicle and trailer stability. Trailer sway control and a
weight distributing (load equalizing) hitch are recom-
mended for heavier Tongue Weights (TW) and may be

Installing A Trailer Hitch

NOTE: If you install a trailer hitch after you purchase
the vehicle, you must install a MOPAR spare tire hold
down kit. The kit will allow you to properly secure the
spare tire and jack assembly.

Weight Ratings) chart for the Maximum GTW towable
for your given drivetrain.
