The power oord of this appliance it equipped with a
_ree=prong (grounding) p_ug.. U se _is with a standard
bhree-slot (grounding} wall power o_let (Fig 11) to
minimize the hazard of electric shock. The customer
should have _e wail receptacle and circuit checked by
a qualified elec¢rician to make sure _e receptacle is
propedy grounded.

Because d potential safety h_ards, we strongly
discouragie the use of an adapter plug. However, if you
wish to use an adapter, a TEMPORARY
CONNECTION may be made,. Use,UL-list_ adapter,
available from most i_al hardware stores (Fig. I2}.
The iarge slot in the adapter mu_ be aligned with the
iarg!es!ot in the receptac!e to assure a proper pola_ty
_nnection.
