Section 3 - Software Configuration
The Routing option is an advanced method of customizing specific routes of data through your network.
In the Routing List section, the user can configure routing rules used by this router. The maximum amount of rules that can be configured is 32.
The following parameters will be available for configuration:
Checkbox:
To enable a route, check the box that is on the left
side of the route.
Name:
Enter a name for the rule used here.
Destination IP:
Enter the IP address of the packets that will take
this route.
Netmask:
Enter the netmask to specify the subnet of the IP
packets that will take this route.
Gateway:
Enter the next hop that will be taken if this route
is used.
Metric:
Enter the metric value that this route will use here.
Interface:
Use the drop-down menu to specify if the IP packet must use the WAN or LAN interface to transit out of the Router.
Click on the Save Settings button to accept the changes made.
Click on the Don't Save Settings button to discard the changes made.
