STANDBY/ON
: Switch the unit on or place it
in standby mode.

16. RIPPING (encoding in MP3 format): Convert CD audio
files into MP3 digital files and save them on a USB
flash drive.
17. DIMMER: Adjust the brightness of the display, the
buttons and the backlighting on the motorized door in
the following order: "ON", "DIM", "OFF". (Even if
you select "OFF", the display always lights up
slightly so that you can easily use the appliance).
18. PBC: Turn PBC ON/OFF on a VCD/SVCD disc.
19. SETUP/EXIT: Enter or exit the "System Setup" menu.
20. MENU: 1) DVD mode - Enter the disc menu. 2) PBC
ON mode - View a VCD disc menu.
21. CLEAR: Clear the information you have entered.
22. OK: Confirm the selection.

: Pause playback and advance frame by frame for
DVD/VCD discs.

25. TITLE: Display the title menu (if available on the DVD

available on the disc). For VCD discs, this option also
enables you to select one of these audio modes:
( " S T E R E O " , " M O N O L " , " M O N O R " and "MIX
M O N O ").
28. DISPLAY: Display current playback information.
29. 0 - 9 (number keys): Enter title, chapter, track and
time search selections.
30. OPEN/CLOSE
