17.8 Novell AFP Implementation and
Maintenance
To use the Novell implementation of AFP file services on your OES 2 server, you must install the
service by using the instructions in the
install it after the initial OES installation, as explained in

NOTE: If you are new to OES, we recommend the

for an introduction to creating and working with eDirectory objects and OES 2 file
services, including Novell AFP.
All eDirectory users can access the AFP file services on an OES 2 server as they would any
Macintosh server.
