Using iManager to Migrate DNS Servers within the Same eDirectory Tree
1 Before starting the migration, create the Destination DNS2 volume specified in
2 Launch iManager.
3 Identify the source NCP
migrated to the OES 2 SP2 target server.
4 Unload the source DNS Server use the following command:
unload named.nlm
5 In iManager, click DNS > DNS Server Management.
6 Select Move DNS Server from the drop-down menu and click OK.
7 In the Select DNS Server Name field, select the source NetWare DNS Server name.
8 In the Enter NCP server Name field, browse and select the virtual cluster NCP server object
that represents the destination DNS2 pool.
9 Click Move.
10 Click OK.
11 Use the following command to load the newly migrated DNS server on the target OES 2 SP2
server:
