- Page 4 Instructions: Opening the Master Lock 5900 1. Open protective cover to reveal dials and release buttons. 2. Lock is preset to initially open at 0-0-0-0. 3. Push the door release button. Lid should open slightly. 4. Open the lid fully (58°). 5. Add or remove valuables. 6. Close lid. 7 . Scramble the combination dials to lock the safe and conceal your combination. 8. Close protective cover. To set a new combination: Record your new combination at masterlockvault.com. 1. Open protective cover to reveal dials and release buttons.
- Page 5 Releasing and locking the cable: 1. Open protective cover to reveal dials and release buttons. 2. Rotate the dials to the current combination. If the product is new, lock is preset to initially open at 0-0-0-0. 3. Push the cable release button (B). 4. Cable should come out of the lock slot. 5. Unwrap cable from product. 6. Wrap around stationary object (C). 7 . Place end of cable into the cable lock slot and push down until it locks in place (D). 8. Scramble the combination dials to lock the safe and conceal your combination. 9. Close protective cover. Reminder: A. The release buttons will open the lock and cable until you scramble the dials. B. Keep the protective cover closed to increase weather resistance and conceal the dials from view.
