Instructions:
Note: Unit is shipped with loose mounting bracket and loose
mounting plate.
To Set a New Combination:
The initial combination is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0.
1. Locate reset lever on back of main unit (A).
2. Push the reset lever up and to the right. The lever remains in
this position.
3. Rotate dials to your desired combination.
4. Push the reset lever, left and down, back to the original position.
5. Record new combination in blanks provide below.
To Attach Main Unit to Mounting Bracket:
1. Locate mounting bracket (B1).
2. Locate small screws (C) (M4 x 0.7 x 16 - Type 1).
3. Place mounting bracket in back of main unit.
4. Place screws in holes, tighten screws to a snug fit.
5. Unit is now ready to be mounted.
To Install LED Batteries
(2 CR1220 Lithium batteries - in polybag):
1. Locate the battery cartridge on back of unit.
2. Pull battery cartridge out of slot.
3. Place new batteries in cartridge.
4. Slide battery cartridge into back of unit.
You will need: pencil or marker, Phillips head
screwdriver, level, drill, and drill bit. For certain
surfaces (masonry) anchors and a hammer
are recommended.
Polybag contains:
• 2 CR1220 Lithium Batteries.
• 2 Cross Recessed Pan Head (M4 x 0.7 x 16) Type
Screws for Mounting Bracket.
• 3 Wood (137-M3.5 x 16MM-S) Type Screws for
Installation to Wall.

To Mount Key Safe:
1. Position the mounting plate (B2) on the desired surface.
2. Use level to verify the mounting plate is vertical (D).
3. Mark the position of the screw holes on the surface (E).
4. Remove mounting plate.
5. If necessary, drill holes for anchors – tap into place with hammer.
6. Drill holes.
7. Position mounting plate.
8. Insert and tighten screws (Type 137-M3.5 x 16mm-S).
9. Locate main unit.
10. Insert mounting bracket into mounting plate top opening on
main unit.
11. Slide unit down until you hear a click. mounting bracket will snap
into mounting plate.
12. Place key cartridge assembly into unit.
13. Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal
your combination.
14. Close the sliding cover.
To Remove Key Retaining Cartridge from Unit:
1. Open sliding cover to reveal the dials and the release button.
Note: LED will light up once the cover is in the open position.
2. Rotate dials to the current combination (if the lock is new, the
combination is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0).
3. Grip key retaining cartridge while pressing down on the release
button (F).
4. Key retaining cartridge will be freed from unit pull cartridge down
to remove.
5. The key can now be used, or add or remove key (see instructions
for using key).

To Place Key into Key Retaining Cartridge and Use Key:
1. Once the key retaining cartridge is removed from main unit (above)
a key can be installed onto the cartridge.
2. Remove screw from slider piece.
3. Place key hole over hole in slider (washer may be necessary if hole
is too big).
4. Insert screw into hole.
5. Tighten screw until snug. Do not over tighten.
6. Key Retaining Cartridge can now be used.
7. Pull on key and pivot the key and slider 90° (right angle) to properly
align key for use (G).
8. Insert key into door – turn to unlock.
9. Turn door knob.
10. Place key retaining cartridge back in unit. (Unit must be set to
correct combination for insertion of key retaining cartridge).
Reminder:
• The release button will open the lock box until you scramble
the dials.
• Keep the sliding cover closed to increase weather resistance
and to conceal the dials from view. Also in order to preserve LED
battery life.
Be sure to record your combination.
Store in safe location.
