Walk the awning in toward the unit. Hook the pull rod into the pull strap before the strap gets too high. Using the pull rod, walk the awning to the fully-closed position. Remove the hook from the pull strap and store in a secure location. Secure travel locks accordingly as they appear on the unit.

Maintenance Fabric Care If the awning is rolled up while wet, roll it out and let it dry as soon as conditions allow before rolling it up again. This will help prevent the formation of mildew and add greatly to the life of the awning. Note: Mildew does not form on the fabric itself, but on the accumulated dust, dirt and grime.

Locate the crank handle for the awning. Insert the hook end of the crank handle into the eye bolt on the drive head (Fig. 1). Turn the crank in a clockwise direction and fully extend the awning (Fig. 2). Note: Keeping the handle as parallel to the support arm assembly as possible makes it easier to turn. Note: Extension is considered complete when the fabric is completely unrolled, the valance is hanging down from the roll tube and a section of the roll tube is exposed (Fig.

The awning fabric should always be above the roll tube. However, if the EXTEND switch is engaged too long or the EXTEND button is hit inadvertently instead of RETRACT, the awning will roll up backward. This is not a defect. To correct the fabric orientation, press the RETRACT button (Fig.1B). The awning will then extend to its correct orientation and normal operation can resume.

Box Instructions Heater ships in a specially lined box and MUST be stored within it when not in use. The box features foam inserts that provide protection for the heater’s ceramic tube, which would otherwise be susceptible to cracking from road mileage vibration during transit. Take care not to damage the box, and always store in a safe, dry place.

Operation Attaching the Heater to the Awning Arm Bracket Remove the heater and mounting assembly from the box, and store the box in a safe, dry place. Extend the awning to allow working space, or to the desired position if immediately using the heater. Align the heater and mounting assembly to the awning bracket by sliding the mounting assembly pivot knob screw (Fig.

Using the Heater NOTE: The heater should only be operated while it is in a level position. Fully extend the awning. Loosen the pivot knob by turning it counter clockwise (Fig. 6) enough so that the heater may freely pivot. Using the built-in bubble level (Fig.

The heater face may be tilted downwards as needed by disengaging the locking lever (Fig. 10A) on right-hand side of the mounting assembly. Once the heater is tilted in the desired position, lock it in place by engaging the locking lever. Fig.

Peel the backing off of the provided cord keepers (Fig. 13A) and stick them inside the outer arm channel (Fig. 13B). Keep in mind the cord will need enough slack to allow the heater to pivot and rotate. Secure the heater's power cord (Fig. 13C) in place by pressing it into the cord keepers (Fig. 13A). Fig.

Plug in the heater to a grounded power source. Turn the heater on by pressing the power button on the remote (Fig. 14A). The display on the heater will indicate power on with no numerical value displayed. (Fig. 15). Fig. 14 Fig.

NOTE: For example, if the heater needs to be on for three hours (Fig. 18): Press the power button to turn on the heater. Within one minute, press the timer button three times consecutively. The display will show a flashing number "3". Wait 5 seconds for the timer display to stop flashing.

Removing and Stowing the Heater Turn off and unplug the heater if it isn't already. Heater will be hot if used recently. Wait 10 minutes to allow the heater to completely cool before touching it.
