Page 63 2.5. Models with extension ring 2.5.1. TE MCC+ with extension ring You can retrofit certain kilns in the “TE MCC+” model family with an extension ring. This also allows you to increase your kiln volume after purchase to customise it to your needs. These kilns are already prepared for the installation of an extension ring as standard on delivery.

Training the operating personnel The kiln may only be operated by trained personnel over the age of 18 (exception: e.g. for training and educational purposes under supervision). 4.5.2. Monitored operation The kiln should be used in monitored operation. In the case of monitored operation, the operating status of the kiln must be checked at sufficiently short time intervals.

Page 69 Delivery 6.1. Delivery 6.1.1. Checking the delivery As a rule, the kiln is delivered by a shipping provider. Immediately after delivery, check that there is no visible damage to the packaging. If there is visible damage, unpack the kiln immediately in the presence of the driver and check the product thoroughly for damage.
Page 70 7.2.2. Kilns over 100 litres inner volume Transport larger and heavier kilns by lifting them under the stand with a forklift or lift truck. Carefully guide the tines of the lifting unit of the forklift or lift truck under the stand. Close the lid, use load restraints and pay attention to the centre of gravity of the kiln.

Tightening the tensioning straps All models except Ecotop: As the residual moisture is removed from the insulating firebricks during the initial firings, the circumference of the kiln may change slightly. Therefore, you must check the tensioning straps of the stainless steel casing of the lid and main ring for tight fit after the first firings and slightly retighten them if necessary.

Control unit General safety information: DANGER Hot surface! ⇒ The controller should never be placed on the kiln but instead it should only be positioned in the bracket provided for it. ⇒ Always route the cable of the controller in such a way that it does not touch the hot outer casing of the kiln during the operation.

Het gevaar bestaat dat het deksel op de laatste centimeters voor het sluiten in één klap dichtvalt.

Page 291 6.1.1. Levering controleren Normaal gesproken wordt de ROHDE oven door een koeriersbedrijf geleverd. Controleer bij levering altijd onmiddellijk of de verpakking zichtbaar beschadigd is. Bij zichtbare beschadigingen pakt u de oven samen met de chauffeur uit en controleert u deze nogmaals nauwkeurig op beschadigingen. Zorg dat de warmtestraling niet wordt belemmerd. • Leg geen voorwerpen op of naast de oven. Leg geen voorwerpen op het ovendeksel. Daardoor wordt de steenstructuur beschadigd, waardoor de isolatiestenen afbreken en losbrokkelen.

Let op: Bevestig of verwijder de meegeleverde stop uitsluitend met veiligheidshandschoenen die bescherming bieden tegen hoge temperaturen.

Algemene stapelaanwijzingen ⇒ Zorg dat alle ovenplaten en cordieriet blokjes eerst worden ingestookt. ⇒ De bodem van de oven mag niet meteen met stookgoed worden beladen. Ook mag de ovenbodem in het midden niet op slechts een punt worden belast. Als de ovenbodem onmiddellijk wordt beladen en daarbij in het midden op slechts een punt wordt belast, raakt de oven onvermijdelijk beschadigd.
