3.4 Download the Diagnostic Software You will need to download the vehicle-specific software the first time you use the diagnos- tic function. Tap Diagnostics > Model Selection from the home screen and download the software you need.

3.5 Plug the DriverScan into the Vehicle's DLC Note: This app is compatible with iOS 9.0 or later / Android 5.0 or later. Insert the DriverScan into the vehicle's OBD-II port. A picture of DLC location for the selected vehicle will display.

Using the DriverScan via the App 4.1 Home Screen 1. Diagnostics Configures the DriverScan to operate as a scan tool. 2. Common functions OBD Function: Monitor the vehicle's emissions and diagnose potential faults within the vehicle's systems. 4.2.2 Auto Scan 1. Click "Auto Search" and the system will automatically connect to DriverScan. Driver- Scan will automatically decode the VIN to identify the vehicle. If the diagnostic software for the corresponding vehicle has not been downloaded, the system will automatically down- load it.

After scanning, you can obtain the fault codes and the number of fault codes in each system. You can obtain the car health diagnosis report and generate a PDF format report; You can also click on "Clear DTCs" to clear fault codes.

Click "System Scan" to automatically scan the vehicle system and check if the vehicle is equipped with a certain system. "Equipped" indicates that it is already installed. 3. Click on "System Selection" to enter the list of existing systems in the vehicle. Read DTC This function displays the DTCs retrieved from the emission-related systems. After obtaining the list of fault codes, if encountering an unknown fault code, you can search for that fault code. Click "Report" to generate a fault code report. Clear Fault Code This function allows you to clear the DTCs retrieved from the emission-related systems.

Read Data Stream After checking and selecting each system, you can view the corresponding data flow. Click "Combination" to select different data and view corresponding data charts (up to 4 can be selected)

Clicking on "Report" can generate report charts and PDF format reports. Click "Record" to record the data into a video as a record. Actuation Test Control and test the vehicle's actuators to verify their proper operation.

4.3 OBD FUNCTION This Function "OBD functions" refers to the comprehensive set of capabilities provided by an On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system in a vehicle. The main roles of an OBD system are to monitor the vehicle's emissions and diagnose potential faults within the vehicle's systems.

4.7 Maintenance The DriverScan supports 15 special functions, including Oil Reset (Oil), Brake Reset (Brake), EGR Adaption (EGR), Air Level Calibration (SUS), Steering Angle Reset (SAS), Battery Management System (BMS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) Bleeding, Throttle Adaptation (ETS), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration, Injector Coding (Injector), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Reset, Sunroof Initialization(SUN), Immobilizer Reset, Adaptive Front Lighting (AFS), Gearbox Relearn (BOX).

EGR——EGR Adaption This function can adjust parameters to activate the exhaust gas reprocessing system. SUS——Air Level Calibration This function can adjust the height of the vehicle body. When replacing the body height sensor or control module in the air suspension system, or when there is an error in the car's levelness, this function needs to be performed to adjust the body height sensor for horizontal calibration.

4.8.7 Download Management Allows you to uninstall the vehicle-specific Diagnostics. 4.8.8 Diagnostic Feedback The DriverScan allows you to instantly send diagnostic feedback (with logs of diagnostic data automatically attached) while you are encountering a software problem with the diag- nostics operations.

Q: Do I need to update the firmware before using it for the first time? A: Yes. Firmware will automatically update to the latest version once the DriverScan is connected with your phone via Bluetooth. You can also tap Me > Firmware to update the firmware manually.
