Parameter
Description
Specifies whether the rule is enabled or disabled. Select to enable, deselect to disable.
enable
n specifies the total number of key-usage purposes to be included in the extension; it
predicate
must be an integer greater than zero. The default value is 10.
Specifies whether the extension should be marked critical or noncritical. Select to
critical
mark critical, deselect to mark noncritical (default).
Specifies the name of the extension. The name is displayed when users view the
name
details of a certificate that includes the extension.
Permissible values: A unique name that corresponds to the OID specified by the oid
parameter.
Example: Example Corp's Extn1
Specifies the OID assigned to the extension.
oid
Permissible values: A valid OID specified in dot-separated numeric component
notation (see the example). Although you can invent your own OIDs for the purposes
of evaluating and testing this server, in a production environment, you should
comply with the ISO rules for defining OIDs and for registering subtrees of IDs. See
Appendix H, "Object Identifiers"
Example: 1.22.333.444.55.666
Specifies the pattern of the extension.
pattern
Permissible values: The pattern can be any sequence of supported ASN.1 type. Rules
for formulating the pattern are as follows:
• Each data component in the pattern must be represented by it's predefined
• Each attribute identifier represented in the pattern must be fully defined in the
