  • Page 6 To Use NOTE: A Basal Thermometer is used to chart basal body temperature (BBT), the basis of a fertility chart. Basal temperature is the lowest normal body temperature after waking in the morning (before getting up, talking, moving around, eating, drinking, or smoking).
