  • Page 6 To Use NOTE: A Basal Thermometer is used to chart basal body temperature (BBT), the basis of a fertility chart. Basal temperature is the lowest normal body temperature after waking in the morning (before getting up, talking, moving around, eating, drinking, or smoking).
  • Page 7 Tips for correct use: • Influencing factors, such as alcohol consumption or unusual body signs, fever, disrupted sleep, your mood or extreme or unusual physical activity may distort your basal temperature and make it unusable for evaluation. • Do not eat and avoid physical exertion before measurement.
  • Page 8 NOTE: Do not use a thermometer that has been used for rectal temperature measuring for, vaginal or oral temperature measuring. Memory The thermometer has 30 memory spaces for measurements.
