An optional TWIN ELEVATION COLUMN can be connected on top of the base LIFTO 25/S or LIFTO 25/S PRO to extend its reach up to about 3,8 m (150 in.), in the below configuration we also use the LIGHTWEIGHT DOLLY.
Supply, to control the column in a more advanced mode, the connections will be supported by the Ethernet grid of the location . The RX Box allows the user to operate the LIFTO 25/S or LIFTO 25/S PRO and the TWIN ELEVATION COLUMN with the most diffused PTZ camera console controllers (Sony, Panasonic, Skaarhoj, etc.).

7. o ptIonal accessorIes tx b edals The TX Box is used in conjunction with the RX Box. It enables to control the LIFTO 25 elevation with other devices such as foot pedals. The TX Box has a display to directly manage all the settings of the connect- ed TX Box.
The control software is compatible with the dedicated LIFTO 25/S or LIF- TO 25/S TWIN Control Module APTZ007 that permits to operate different speeds in elevation, up to 5 LIFTO 25/S or LIFTO 25/S TWIN units. The Control Module is also capable of memorizing positions, starts, stops &...
Prior to installation, please check the state of packaging for its integrity on arrival, and also make sure that none of the components show signs of im- pact. If any such damage occurs CARTONI should be informed immediately. If the product is to be forwarded elsewhere, it should be carefully paked and the greatest care should be taken not to damage any of the components.

Connect the motor cable to the power supply (18), using the first port avail- able: if only one LIFTO 25 is being connected to the power supply (18), choose the port “1” (21). If you have the TWIN ELEVATION COLUMN fol- low the instructions in Section 10.4.3.
10.2 M ountIng the caMera Mount the safe release camera plate (1) on the PTZ camera tightening the screws (1/4” screws provided). If the PTZ camera does not have the mounting holes aligned with the opti- cal axis, please use the accessory APTZ003 (not included). Fix the safe camera plate (1) into the plate support (14), then tighten the knob (13) to avoid undesired camera movement.

Afterwards, secure all the three legs (11) using the rubber restrain bands of the dolly itself. Set the desired tripod height acting on the clamping levers (2) and finally tighten the spreader knob (4).

(Kptz0206) The use of the RX Box excludes the standard power supply (18). Connect the LIFTO 25/S motor cable to the RX Box on Leg 1 (45). If you have the TWIN EXTENSION, connect the TWIN EXTENSION motor cable to the RX Box on Leg 2 (46). Connect the ethernet cable coming from the network switch on the ethernet port (43).
10.4.5 tx b (Kptz0205) The TX Box box allows direct control of the RX Box without an external control panel. Connect the Pedal UP and DOWN connectors on the UP and DOWN con- nectors respectively (50, 51) on the TX Box. Connect the ethernet cable coming from the network switch on the ethernet port (55).
10.4.6 d-t ount batterIes (aptz005) ap cable for The LIFTO 25 versions can be operated using batteries as well. To this spe- cific purpose, a dedicated accessory has been conceived in order to use two 14V batteries with the D-Tap cable for V-Mount batteries (APTZ0005). Do not connect both the batteries and the AC plug to the power supply unit simultaneously.
afety precautIons The LIFTO 25 versions are designed to be easy for operators to use without physical strain. It reduces the need for repetitive movements and minimizes discom- fort, keeping in mind both physical and mental comfort. Any items to be installed on any LIFTO 25 should be po- sitioned so that the Camera's Center of Gravity (CG) is as close as possible to the geometric center of the base triangle.
Remove the PTZ camera loosing the knob (13) till completely disengage the camera plate (1) from the motorized column (7). Remove the safe release camera plate (1) from the PTZ camera loosing the 1/4” screws. Insert again the camera plate on the LIFTO 25 versions, and tight the knob (13).
CARTONI. All spare parts should be ordered from CARTONI which will either supply them directly or indicate where they may be obtained. Remember that repairs should only be carried by persons employed or au- thorized by CARTONI.
13.3 d ecoMMIssIonIng In case the LIFTO 25 versions becomes beyond repair it should be placed out of service or at least clearly labeled as “out of order”. Since the LIFTO 25 versions is largely made of steel and aluminum, most of its materials can be recycled. Once a LIFTO 25 version is decommissioned, it is advisable to separate its various materials for differentiated utilization or disposal, according to national regulations.
