Check voltage at disconnected control unit
plug between terminals 6 and 8 with the igni-
tion on. The voltage must equal the battery
voltage.
Voltage correct?
Eliminate break in supply line.

9. Check sensor resistance including sensor line
at disconnected control unit plug between
terminals 3 and 7.
Resistance: 490 to 700 ohms.
