    Care and maintenance Checking/regulating the air pressure Check the air pressure on gauge 1 every time before operation. Gauge 1 must show a pressure of 6 bar. Regulate this pressure if required. To do so, pull knob 2 up and turn it accordingly.

    Adjustment Adjustment For the adjustments in this chapter the PFAFF 1296 two-needle machine is illustrated. On the PFAFF 1295 single-needle machines various adjustments only have to be carried out on one side, i.e. in the right-hand hook area. This is referred to in the different chapters.
