CHAPTER 3:PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE 3.1 CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS WHAT KIND OF ROUTINE MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED? Minimal maintenance and cleaning is required. Adhering to this schedule will extend the life of your machine. HOW DO I CLEAN MY MACHINE? Clean with soap and water cleaners only. Never use solvents on plastic parts. Cleanliness of your machine and its operating environment will keep maintenance problems and service calls to a minimum.

CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.2 THE CONSOLE DOES NOT LIGHT UP. SYMPTOM: Turn on the power switch, but the console will not light up. (Oxford 6) SOLUTION: The outlet of the machine is plugged and is functional. Double check that the breaker has not tripped.

CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.4 HEART RATE ISSUE Symptom: Heart rate does not work. Solution: Check the battery on the chest strap. A. Re-center the strap on the user's chest (Figure A). Apply a light amount of moisture to the chest strap sensors.
CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.5 RESISTANCE ISSUE Symptom: No resistance or incorrect resistance Solution: 1. Turn on the console and check the ECB motor (1000213379)/tension control (1000412305). At resistance level 1, the head of steel rope directs to top right side (around 45 degree). If the head of steel rope points to bottom left side, the resistance will be reverse.

CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.5 RESISTANCE ISSUE B) If the ECB motor/tension control can move, the resistance can be adjusted. If the resistance is still too heavy, check the gap between orange block and the bottom. It should be within 1-2 mm. If the gap is larger than 1-2 mm, the resistance will be heavier than normal.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.1 SIDE COVER 1. Remove the back cover screws (020042-00). 2. Remove the side cover screws (020042-00). 3. Fold the rower, remove the undercover screws (020042-00) and DC power cord cover. Only OXFORD 6 has DC power cord cover.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.3 SEAT PAD 1. Remove the screws (004462-00) and rubber plate (1000354060) with L type wrench. 2. Remove the cap (1000409243) with some force. 3. Remove the seat pad.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.4 CONSOLE & CONSOLE WIRE 1. Remove the console mast cover (1000409269), console cover screws (004623-00), link screw (004488-AC) and nut (004926-00). 2. Remove wire connection carefully. 3. Remove side cover (section 6.1) and loosen front cover screws (004621-00) on both sides. Note: There is only one speed sensor wire connected with OXFORD 3 console board.

CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.4 CONSOLE & CONSOLE WIRE 4. Disconnect all the wire. 5. Remove the wire fixing screws. 6. Remove the console connect wire (1000411432) through console mast. Note: There is only one speed sensor wire in OXFORD 3 cover.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.5 HEART RATE BOARD (OXFORD 6 ONLY) 1. Fold the machine and remove the screws (004621-00) under the slide rail. 2. Disconnect the wire of HR board. 3. Remove the HR board (1000412131) through the slide rail.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.6 RPM SENSOR 1. Remove the side cover (section 6.1). 2. Remove the fixing screw (020042-00). 3. Disconnect the sensor wire. Note: OXFROD 6’s is under the ECB motor, OXFORD 3’s is the only wire in the machine cover. For OXFORD 6 For OXFORD 3 4.
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.7 CONTROLLER BOARD (OXFORD 6 ONLY) 1. Disconnect the wire, remove the knob screws (004621-00) and remove the knob (1000414889). 2. Remove the knob cover (1000412398), lamp stand (1000412397) and butt plate (1000414975). 3. Remove the nut and pull out the board (1000412436).
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.8 BELT PULLEY 1. Remove the handlebar from the belt (1000426731). 2. Remove the screws on both sides (004505-00/004454-AH). 3. Remove the belt pulley (1000426737).
CHAPTER 6:PARTS REPLACEMENT 6.9 ECB MOTOR/TENSION CONTROL 1. Disconnect wire connections and steel rope connection. 2. Remove the screws (020256-00). 3. Remove the ECB motor (1000213379)/tension control (1000412305). Note: Tension control is for in OXFORD 3, there is no wire connected with it.
