    CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.2 THE CONSOLE DOES NOT LIGHT UP. SYMPTOM:  Turn on the power switch, but the console will not light up. (Oxford 6) SOLUTION:  The outlet of the machine is plugged and is functional. Double check that the breaker has not tripped.

    CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.4 HEART RATE ISSUE Symptom:  Heart rate does not work. Solution:  Check the battery on the chest strap. A. Re-center the strap on the user's chest (Figure A). Apply a light amount of moisture to  the chest strap sensors.

    CHAPTER 5:TROUBLESHOOTING 5.5 RESISTANCE ISSUE Symptom:  No resistance or incorrect resistance Solution: 1. Turn on the console and check the ECB motor (1000213379)/tension control (1000412305). At resistance level 1, the head of steel rope directs to top right side (around 45 degree). If the head of steel rope points to bottom left side, the resistance will be reverse.

If the resistance is still too heavy, check the gap between orange block and the bottom. It should be within 1-2 mm. If the gap is larger than 1-2 mm, the resistance will be heavier than normal.

Remove wire connection carefully. 3. Remove side cover (section 6.1) and loosen front cover screws (004621-00) on both sides. Note: There is only one speed sensor wire connected with OXFORD 3 console board.
