PTY Search
• Use this function to automatically search and receive the stations broadcasting the desired program type.

In the FM mode, press the SEARCH MODE button twice.

When "PTY Search" is displayed, press the PTY SEL (＜/＞) buttons to select a PTY station.

Press the TUNING UP/DOWN (▲ ▲ /▼ ▼ , , +/-) buttons to search the station.
• "PTY Search" is displayed.
• Each time these buttons are pressed, one of 29
different types of programs is selected.
(News, Current Affairs, Information, Sport, Education,
Drama, Cultures, Science, Varied Speech, Pop
Music, Rock Music, Easy Listening, Light Classics M,
Serious Classics, Other Music, Weather & Metr,
Finance, Children's Progs, Social Affairs, Religion,
Phone In, Travel & Touring, Leisure & Hobby, Jazz
Music, Country Music, National Music, Oldies Music,
Folk Music, Documentary)
• When "PTY Search" is not displayed, repeat again
from the above step 1.
• The tuner automatically searches stations offering
PTY services.
• If no station is found, "No Programme" is displayed.
