You can receive free phone support for the Product Life of
your HP Server product. HP supports all HP Servers for a
full five years after the product's obsolescence date.
Internal accessories are HP products which have been
installed inside an HP Server/HP Netserver by you or by
the factory. Internal accessories include DIMMs,
processors, hot-swap hard disk drives, and PCI cards.
HP internal accessories carry a system-matching
warranty. This means that the accessory is serviced on-
site along with the HP Server/HP Netserver into which it
is installed. If the warranty period for the HP Server/HP
Netserver has expired, you can return the accessory to HP
for service for one year after its purchase.
If you are calling for support regarding an internal
accessory, please tell the agent that it is installed inside an
HP Server/HP Netserver.
Important Note: HP factory integrated third party parts
are included in the system-matching warranty.
External accessories carry their own warranties. External
accessories include peripherals such as printers, monitors,
and mass storage devices such as HP Rack Storage and
HP SureStore products.
Talk to your authorized reseller for more information
about the warranty on your external accessories.
The warranty period officially begins on the day that HP
delivers your HP Server/HP Netserver.
