TECHNICAL STUFF:

some external modems. On
modems without DIP switches,
these functions are handled by
modem commands.
Click Exit to return to the Modem
Configurator menu.
CONNECTION CONTROL
This is where you adjust your modem's
connection and transmission settings.
Click Connection Control to bring up this
screen.

In the upper left hand corner of this screen,
you will find the current Connection Control
settings.
Use the "Connection Control" screen to
configure the following settings:
DATA TERMINAL READY (DTR)
ERROR CORRECTION
DATA COMPRESSION
CARRIER DETECT
