The server's event log (select the Administration tab and then
the Event Log button) will record the server successfully joining
the domain you specified.
An alternative to steps 1–4 above is to use the Detailed View

rather than the Wizard. Select the Windows (SMB) tab. On the
configuration page, you can click the [Change] button to set the
parameters.
