WARNINGS
• Risk of electric shock - Disconnect power at the source
before installation.
• If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance
of the wall light, please consult an electrician.
• Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or
modify any electrical componentry.
If you are replacing an existing fixture, remove and disconnect
the old fixture first.
1. Ensure that power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker
or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
2. Remove the mounting bracket from light fixture. (Figure 1)
3. Expose the supply wires from the outlet box.
4. Position the supply wires with the white supply wire on one
side of the outlet box and the black supply wire on the other side.
5. Attach the mounting bracket to the outlet box by allowing the outlet
box screws to pass through the slot in the mounting bracket. (Figure 2)
6. Connect the outlet box ground wire (green or copper) to the
fixture ground wire (green) using a wire connector.
7. Connect the white wire from the fixture assembly to the neutral
supply wire (typically white) from the post using a wire connector (Figure 3)
8. Connect the black wire from the fixture assembly to the hot supply wire
(typically black) from the post using a wire connector (Figure 3)
1. After all connections are secure, carefully tuck the wires into the electrical outlet
box. No loose strands or loose connections should be present.
2. Attach the fixture mounting plate to the fixture mounting screws on the mounting
bracket. Make sure no wires are pinched or exposed.
3. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box and the fixtures mounting plate
causing a short, apply a bead of clear caulk to outline the outside of the fixtures
mounting plate where it meets the wall. Leave a small space at the bottom to allow
any condensation or moisture to escape.
4. The installation is now complete. Restore the electricity and check the operation
of your lighting fixture.
