TPSM83102EVM-125 Evaluation Module
Description
The TPSM83102EVM-125 evaluation module is
designed to help users easily evaluate and test the
operation and functionality of the TPSM83102 and
TPSM83103 buck-boost converter family. The EVM
has the output voltage set to 3.3V . The output voltage
can be programmed via I
and 5.5V. The EVM operates with an input voltage
between 1.6V and 5.5V and the output current can go
up to 1.5A when Vin≥2.7V.

    The only difference between TPSM83102 and TPSM83103 is the ENABLE bit internal. This user’s guide describes the operation and use of the TPSM83102EVM-125. This document includes setup instructions for the hardware, together with the schematic and the PCB layout of the EVM. Throughout this document, the abbreviations EVM, and the term evaluation module are synonymous with TPSM83102EVM-125, unless otherwise noted.
  • Page 3 Hardware 2 Hardware 2.1 Background The TPSM83102EVM-125 uses the TPSM83102 or TPSM83103 integrated circuit (IC) , and is set to 3.3V output voltage. The EVM operates with an input voltage between 1.6V and 5.5V. 2.2 Setup This section describes how to properly use the TPSM83102EVM-125.
