⑩ ⑨ Unpacking Instructions The CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier is usually delivered on a pallet, covered with pallet wrap, and secured with transport brackets which are fixed to the wheels. Carefully remove any outer packaging. Locate and remove any cable ties or straps that secure the ES42 Lawn Scarifier to the pallet. -

CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier Always stop the power unit and wait for the blades to stop rotating before removing or replacing the collection bag. Use the central lifting handle on the bag frame (Fig. 3) when connecting or disconnecting the bag from the machine. -

CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier 6.0 Safety Instructions Starting and Operating To Start the EGO Power Unit Fig. 5 Put the key into the power switch slot and turn it to the “ON” position (Fig. 5), the power unit LED display will light up and the green light on the battery packs will illuminate. - Page 14 CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier Never operate the machine with defective guards, or without safety devices, for example deflectors and or catchers in place. When safety checks have been completed turn the EGO Power Unit on following the correct procedure. Disengage all levers, by releasing them, before starting the EGO Power Unit.

CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier Stop the EGO Power Unit and remove the batteries before: a) Clearing blockages; b) Checking, cleaning or working on the machine; After striking a foreign object; d) If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally. Stop the EGO Power Unit whenever you leave the machine. -

Page 17: Removing Cartridge/Rotor Assembly
CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier Grab the right-hand side of the belt close to the bottom pulley and pull as if you are trying to pull the belt off the bottom pulley. With your other hand slowly and carefully rotate the pulley in an anticlockwise direction and ease the belt off the pulley. -

CAMON ES42 Lawn Scarifier Locate the bottom taper lock pulley onto the end of the rotor shaft ensuring the woodruff key is fitted. Once the pulley is situated beneath the centrifugal clutch fix the taper lock pulley into position by tightening the 2 grub screws evenly in the original holes when the taper lock was removed. -
