OPERATING
HINTS
The machine must NOT be used as a slitter
or aerator as the blades will damage the lawn,
and the machine will be damaged.
Always use the machine at maximum engine
speed.
Empty the grassbag frequently.
If the Scarifier should strike a stone or similar
object, STOP the engine immediately and
wait for the blades to stop rotating. Inspect
the Scarifier for damage and if in any doubt
contact your supplier.
TO STOP THE
ENGINE
Release the operating lever.
Switch the ignition to 'OFF' position.
Turn the fuel tap to 'OFF' position.
Wait for the blades to stop rotating before
attempting to move the machine.
