Grundfos to service the product, contact Grundfos with details about the pumped liquid before returning the product for service. Otherwise, Grundfos can refuse to accept the product for service. Any application for service must include details about the pumped liquid. -

3.1.2 Installation 1. Clean the sleeve and the motor shaft. 2. Apply lubricant to the inside of the sleeve (51a). See the figure below and the section on lubricants. Installing the coupling 9. Tighten the screws (9) and make sure that there is an equal gap on each side of the coupling. -

3.2 Bearing flange overhaul 3.2.1 Preparations 1. Remove the motor as described in the section on removal. 2. Close the isolating valves, if fitted. Related information 3.1.1 Removal 3.2.2 Dismantling 1. Attach eyebolts to the bearing flange (1c). See the figure below. Attaching eyebolts to the bearing flange 2. - Page 9 4. Apply two drops of thread locker onto the bottom area of the sleeve (51a). See the figure below. Applying thread locker to the thread of the sleeve (51a) 5. Screw the union nut onto the sleeve (51a) by using a hinged pin wrench (left hand thread).
