INTRODUCTION

Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or need a caffeine boost to conquer your day, the Chefman® Froth + Brew™ makes drinks in minutes.
Before brewing your first cup, please read this User Guide in full.

FUN FACTS

  • Coffee beans are seeds. We call them beans because of their resemblance to legumes, but they come from cherry-like coffee plants.
  • Decaf coffee is not 100% caffeine free. An 8 oz cup of decaf coffee typically contains 2 to 12 mg of caffeine as compared to a standard cup that has at least 95 mg.
  • Johann Sebastian Bach wrote a mini opera about coffee called "Be Still, Stop Chattering."
  • Caffeine was identified as coffee's active ingredient in the 1830s after it got the attention of European politicians who feared the "wild potion's" abilities.
  • Receptors in our noses shut down after being continually exposed to the same smell over time. That's why we become "nose blind." A proven way to stop "nose blindness," or olfactory habituation, is to reset our sense of smell by sniffing coffee beans. That's why small cups of coffee beans are often found in perfume shops.
  • In 1964, a Long Island national convenience store chain was the first to offer fresh coffee in to-go cups.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAQS

  • Never tip the Froth + Brew™ upside down for any reason; hot water may come out and cause burns.
  • Only water should be used in the water tank. Never put milk or any other liquid into the water tank. Only use water in water tank.
  • For best results, we recommend using filtered water.

CULINARY FROTHING AND BREWING TIPS

  • Only the included glass frothing mug can be used to froth with the Froth + Brew™.
  • Cold Froth and Brew cannot be used in the same cycle because the resulting drink is lukewarm.
  • Any kind of milk can be used with the Froth + Brew™, but different types of milk will create different kinds of froth.
  • Use froth immediately after frothing to prevent separation.
  • Whole bean coffee will stay fresh longer than grounds. For best results, grind your own beans at home.
