- Page 3 III. Operating Instructions 1. Locate the rewinder and the printer as close as possible. Rewinding Labels 2. The default machine is equipped with a Fin that fits 1.57" (40mm) cores. If you want to use a 1.5-inch (38mm) cardboard core, simply remove the Fin from the Rewind Shaft and insert the cardboard core directly onto the Rewind Shaft.
