Vehicle lifts with an insufficient lifting capacity can collapse under the weight of the vehicle and crush any persons standing underneath. - Page 4 MONTAGEANLEITUNG TECHART Frontspoiler II Risk of injury from hands and arms being crushed, cut or lacerated when working with sharp-edged and bulky objects. MONTAGEANLEITUNG TECHART Frontspoiler II Installation Prepare vehicle Before starting work, check that the vehicle is free of defects. Use the PIWIS system tester to read out all of the fault memories of the individual vehicle components and first rectify any faults displayed. -

Unscrew all bolts in the inner wheelhouse lining. Fig. 01 Remove inner wheelhouse lining including brake air duct. Unscrew the additional screw (36) at the headlight area from the TECHART Front Spoiler II (14). MONTAGEANLEITUNG TECHART Frontspoiler II Installing the TECHART front spoiler II 3.1 Assembling the TECHART front spoiler After crimping, heat up all crimp connectors using a hot air gun so that they form a watertight seal. Trim the aluminum mounting (19) by 35 mm on right and left. - Page 11 TECHART bracket 087.100.100.200 (7). MONTAGEANLEITUNG TECHART Frontspoiler II 3.3 Installing the TECHART wiring harness Switch off the ignition and disconnect the battery when working on the vehicle electrical/electronics systems. After crimping, heat up all crimp connectors using a hot air gun so that they form a watertight seal. - Page 15 Disconnect the parking light cable approx. 15 mm behind the connector. Connect the parking light cable to the TECHART wiring harness (32) with a red crimp connector. Connect the black cable of the TECHART wiring harness to the brown cable.

Position the TECHART front spoiler II in front of the vehicle. Connect the TECHART daytime running lights to the TECHART control unit. Push on the TECHART front spoiler II and fit to the original fastenings above and below. Screw the fastening between the headlamp and flap onto the fender using the supplied M4 nut and washer. -
