1) Set the flange with the foam gasket and screw in the drain hole in the sink. NOTE: The foam
gasket is supplied for your convenience, however, we recommend using plumber's putty (not
included) instead of the foam gasket. Do not use both the foam gasket and plumber's putty.
2) Ensure the trap cup and the drain body are tightly screwed onto the trap body with the
rubber gaskets inside the connections.
3) From under the sink, line up the drain body with the thick rubber gasket inside with the flange
and screw.
4) From above the sink, tighten the screw into the metal nut inside the drain body. Make sure
the side port of the trap body is pointed in the desired direction for connecting the waste line,
before securing.
5) Securely screw the hose barb onto the side port of the trap body, ensuring the rubber gasket
is properly seating inside the head of the hose barb. Slide 3/4" or 1" ID hose all the way onto the
hose barb. 3/4" hose will fit the first set of smaller barbs, while 1" hose will pass over the first set
of smaller barbs and secure on the second set of larger barbs. Secure hose with a stainless steel
hose clamp (not included).
6) Remove the protective sticker from the polished surface of the stopper.
7) OPTIONAL- Drill a 3/16" hole in the counter-top or other surface
and secure the stopper screw using the stopper nut, where desired. If
you choose not to secure the stopper screw, you may remove the
stopper chain (and stopper screw) from the stopper. Spread the ends of
the stopper triangle connector and remove it from the stopper.
