WPA-PSK:
WPA2-PSK:
Specifies wireless LAN connection through an access point.
Specifies direct wireless LAN connection between the Data Projector and

Encryption turned off.
Turns on WEP encryption. When this option is selected, you also must
specify a WEP key format and a WEP key.
The letters "WEP" stand for "Wired Equivalent Privacy". It is a security
protocol that uses a character string to encrypt data and protect against
unauthorized access to wireless communications.
Turns on WPA-PSK encryption. When this option is selected, you also must
specify a WPA/WPA2 encoding and a WPA/WPA2 pass phrase.
The letters "WPA" stand for "Wi-Fi Protected Access". Like WEP, it is a
security protocol that encrypts communication data. WPA uses an
automatically generated encryption key that is changed at preset
intervals, which provides stronger security than WEP.
Turns on WPA2-PSK encryption. When this option is selected, you also
must specify a WPA/WPA2 encoding and a WPA/WPA2 pass phrase.
WPA2 is a new standard of WPA.
Note
You cannot select WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK when "Ad Hoc" is
selected for the "Access Mode" setting.
WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption cannot be selected on a
computer running Windows XP or 2000. If you want to use either
of these encryption systems, connect to an existing network that is
using the system you want to use. See ""Connect to an existing
network" check box" (page 39) for information about connecting to
an existing network.
Depending on your computer system setup, connecting with WPA-
PSK or WPA2-PSK encryption may not be possible. If you
experience problems, contact your network administrator.
