VENUS is DAHENG IMAGING's board level industrial digital camera. The cameras are available in a variety
of resolutions and frame rates, and are available with CMOS sensors from leading chip manufacturers, which
are easy to install and use.
VENUS board level cameras include two types: All-in-One and Split. Users can acquire images and configure
parameters with GalaxyView.

Guidelines for Avoiding EMI and ESD
■
USB cables certificated by USB IF with lock screw are recommended
■
Using shielded cable can avoid electro-magnetic interface. Shielding layer of the cable should conduct
to ground nearby and not until stretched too long. When many devices need conduct to ground, using
single point grounding to avoid earth loop
■
Keep your cameras away from equipment with high voltage, or high current (such as motor, inverter,
relay, etc.). If necessary, use additional shielding
■
ESD (electro-static discharge) may damage cameras permanently, so use suitable clothing (cotton)
and shoes, and touch the metal to discharge the electro-static before operating cameras

DAHENG IMAGING USB3.0 software supports Windows, Linux, Android, ARMv7 and ARMv8. 3.2 Installation After decompressing the download file, please run the setup program (.exe file). You can choose the components which you need during the installation.

Installation and Use 4.1 Camera Installation 1.Assemble the camera, fix it on an appropriate location, and install the lens according the lens mount. 2.Connect to the PC with USB3.0/FPC cable for images transmission and power supply. 3.Connect to the I/O port with cable to receive trigger signal and synchronizing signal. Please refer to the table of I/O port pins definition.
