The pump is designed to aerate aquaria and pond water. Do not place the pump above water to avoid slip into water, it must be installed and used outside the water.
Use the appliance only indoor, do not install outdoor.
The pump must be protected from freezing temperature.
Disconnect the unit from the mains before installation.
Prior to any maintenance disconnect the power supply to all units immersed
Do not force single components while assembling as this may damage the unit.
Pay due attention to the attached pictures at the end of this manual of instructions. The figures hereafter which are put in brackets are referring to these pictures.

The pump should be placed so that it cannot fall in the water. Keep the pump dry. Fix the pump by means of a string (A) which can pass through the hole at the back side of the pump. Caution! The pump may travel due to the vibrations that result during operation. Ensure the pump is fixed by the string (A) securely before operation.
The pump should be placed at higher level than water surface (B).
The pump should not be used, if mains connection, plug or housing are damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Any repair work should be done only by the manufacturer or by an authorized repair shop who has on hand all the special tools.
Run a part of the cable downward in a curve so as to prevent water flowing freely along the cable to the plug or the plug socket (C). In case plug or socket have got wet, do avoid any contact! Interrupt current supply to the plug socket!
Run a part of the hose downward in a curve so as to prevent water flowing freely along the hose to the pump (D). In case the pump has got wet, pull out mains plug!
In case of warranty claims or faults please return the unit to the shop /seller.
Please read the following operating instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the unit prior to using for the first time. If used for purposes other than that intended, our guarantee conditions will become null and void. We are not responsible for damages caused by mishandling of the unit. Please keep these instructions for any future reference and hand them over when passing the unit on to a new owner.
Persons not conversant with the contents of these operating instructions must not use this device.
The pump must not be used by children.
The pump may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and / or knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the equipment and have understood the resulting hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the device.
The pump must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
