Safety
•
The product is only intended for normal domestic use and
must only be used as described in this instruction manual.
•
Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Wipe the
product dry immediately if it has become wet or damp.
•
The temperature probe is only designed for measuring
the internal temperature of food. Never attempt to use the
product for other types of temperature measurement.
•
Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix rechargeable
and non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Never subject the product to impacts or shocks.
•
The product should never be used if it is damaged or not
working properly.
•
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
•
Never let children play with the product.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Clean the outside of the thermometer by wiping it with a
damp cloth. Use only mild detergents. Never use solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
•
If you are not going to use the thermometer for a long period,
remove the batteries and store the thermometer in a dry,
dust-free place out of the reach of children.
Note:
The probe must never be put in a dishwasher or washed in
running water. It must only be cleaned by wiping it with a moist
cloth. Be careful not to get any water inside the cable connection
on the probe. If water gets inside the probe, it could cause
damage and inaccurate temperature readings.

1. [M] TIMER mode: Press or hold to set the hours.
[M] COOK mode: Press repeatedly to select the type of food
to be cooked.
2. [S] TIMER mode: Press or hold to set the minutes.
[T] COOK mode: Press repeatedly to select the level of cooking.
3. [S/S] TIMER mode: Press to start/stop the timer.

Using the product
Inserting the batteries
1. Open the battery cover on the back
of the thermometer by sliding it in the
direction of the arrow.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries.
Follow the markings in the battery
compartment to make sure that the
polarity is correct.
3. Replace the battery cover.
Off/on
Set the selector switch (6) to ON to switch on the thermometer.
Set the selector switch to OFF to switch off the thermometer.
Settings
The meat thermometer can be used in two different function

modes: COOK or TIMER.
COOK: Manually set a target temperature that must be reached
for the thermometer alarm to sound or select any of the
pre-set temperatures based on the type of meat and the

level of cooking.
TIMER: Set the thermometer alarm to sound after a set time has
elapsed. Slide the selector switch (5) sideways to select
the mode.
COOK
Select from the pre-set target temperatures.

1. Select the meat type by pressing [M/M ] repeatedly.
Choose from:
- Beef
- Pork
- Chick - Chicken
- Turky - Turkey
- Veal
2. Select the level of cooking* by pressing [ S/T ] repeatedly.
Choose from:
- Well - Well done
- Medium - Medium
* Only certain pre-set meat types have a setting for the level of
cooking. Note that the result can vary.
Setting the target temperature manually
1. Press and hold [S/S ] for 3 seconds. The target temperature
"Alert temp" will begin to flash on the display.

2. Press or hold [M/M ] or [S/T ] to increase/reduce the
temperature (-20 to 300ºC).
3. Press [S/S ] to save the set temperature.
4. The thermometer alarm will sound when the set temperature
has been reached.
•
The thermometer shows the current temperature
"COOKING TEMP".
•
When the set temperature (ALERT TEMP) is reached,
the thermometer alarm will sound. Switch off the alarm by
pressing any button.
•
The temperatures that you have set manually will be saved
until you switch off the product, when all the settings will
revert to the default values.
