Installation Install the valves All models except Starck: Remove the plaster shields, mounting plates, o-rings, and stop rings from the valves and set them aside in a safe location. From below, insert the valves through the corresponding holes in the mounting surface. From above, slide the stop rings onto the valves.

Install the trim Carlton/Phoenix/Terrano/Citterio: Screw the escutcheons (not included with Terrano) down over the mounting plates. Position the handle over the valve with the handle in the desired “off” position. While holding the handle steady with one hand, use the other hand to rotate the bell clockwise, so that it screws down over the valve.
