Assemble components on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching or damaging the finish.

ASSEMBLY
1. Run the long cable on the pump through the tube in the bottom of the fountain. Ensure the cable is beneath the
groove on the bottom of the fountain to prevent damage when the fountain is filled with water.
2. Firmly connect the water tube to the pump.
3. Locate the light cable and firmly connect it to the short cord on the pump. Do not over-tighten the seal.
4. Place the leak guard over the tube inside the fountain basin, ensuring the power cords are within the groove of the
leak guard.
5. Place the mesh screen over the basin.
6. Ensure the polyurethane foam filter is over the drainage holes, beneath the top bowl.
7. Securely connect the pump power cable to the AC adapter.
8. Fill the fountain with enough water to keep the pump fully submerged during operation; approximately 2 gallons.
9. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded GFCI outlet.
Note: When first used, there may be air in the pump. It may take several minutes for trapped air to escape, allowing water to flow.
You may need to add more water as the pump begins to circulate water through the fountain.

Take care when handling the water tube; detaching the
tube from the fountain will permanently damage the
fountain and void the product warranty.
The polyurethane foam filter is required to help control
water flow and helps prevent the drainage holes from
clogging.
