How To Use Yealink WH6X Headsets in Training Mode

This article provides instructions on how to pair two Yealink WH6X headsets using

Permanent Conference Mode. This feature allows the secondary headset (trainee) to join

calls of the primary headset (trainer), so it will only hear the audio of the call.

Preparing the Trainer's Headset

1. On a computer download and install the Yealink USB Connect software from the

Yealink website.

2. Connect the trainer's headset base unit to the PC where the Yealink USB Connect

is installed.

3. Launch Yealink USB Connect and select the headset in question.

4. Navigate to Device Settings > Advanced Settings.

5. Enable the Permanent Conference Mode option. This will allow the trainee

headset to remain connected to the trainer's base unit after each call.

Note: if this option is not available, the headset may require a firmware upgrade to

the latest version. Within the same Yealink USB Connect, select the headset device,

then select Update device.

Turn on the trainee's headset by long-pressing the Call Control button again for 3 seconds, When it turns on you will hear power on and pairing mode.
