Locate Pin 1 in the socket and look for a (golden) cut edge on the CPU upper corner. Insert the CPU into the socket. (Do not force the CPU into the socket.) Please note that the DIMM module can only fit in one direction due to the one notch. Wrong orientation will cause im proper installation. Please change the insert orientation. In order to utilize the front audio header, your chassis must have front audio connector. Also please make sure the pin assigment on the cable is the same as the pin assigment on the MB header. To find out if the chassis you are buying support front audio connector, please contact your dealer.
