Lower the bathtub to the lowest position.

Fill the bathtub.
Bathe patient using a bath chair

Transfer the patient to the bathtub.

Lower the patient into the bath without any part of the body rubbing
against the bathtub. Monitor the water level.
Bathe patient in a sling

Feel the water on your bare skin to make
sure the water temperature is comfortable.

Raise the bathtub and let the patient feel the water with their feet.
