    LoadLifter 5000 SPECIAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 . 1994 model and newer Dodge 4WD pickups only: It will be necessary to remove the inner fenderwell liner on late model 4WD Dodge trucks . This is done by carefully driving the pin through the fasteners with a center punch (Fig .

    LoadLifter 5000 ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING UNIT See Figure 7 below for assembly . 1 . Set a roll plate on both ends of the air spring . The radiused (rounded) edge of the roll plate will be toward the air spring so that the air spring is seated in both roll plates .

     Heat test — Be sure there is sufficient clearance from heat sources, at least 6” (152mm) for air springs and air lines . If a heat shield was included in the kit, install it . If there is no heat shield, but one is required, call Air Lift customer service at (800) 248-0892 .
