    LoadLifter 5000 3/8” Bolt (E) 3/8” Lock washer (F) 3/8” Flat washer (G) Upper bracket (B) fig. 3 3. Place the lower brackets (C) on the air springs. NOTE There are holes on the legs of one side of the bracket only. The holes should be on the side of the air spring opposite the installed air fitting.

    LoadLifter 5000 5. Insert the spacer (N) between the shock bracket and the lower bracket (fig. 5). 6. Attach the lower bracket to the shock bracket using a 3/8”-16 X 1¼” hex head cap screw (I), flat washer (J), and nyloc nut (K) (figs. 1 & 5 for ‘03-’06 models or figs. 2 & 5 for ‘07 and later models).
  • Page 10 LoadLifter 5000 3. Cut the air line assembly (AA) in two equal lengths. WHEN CUTTING OR TRIMMING THE AIR LINE, USE A HOSE CUTTER, A RAZOR BLADE CAUTION OR A SHARP KNIFE. A CLEAN, SQUARE CUT WILL ENSURE AGAINST LEAKS. DO NOT USE WIRE CUTTERS OR SCISSORS TO CUT THE AIR LINE.

    LoadLifter 5000 POST-INSTALLATION CHECKLIST (To be completed by owner)  Overnight leakdown test — Recheck air pressure after vehicle has been used for 24 hours. If pressure has dropped more than 5 PSI, check for leaks and fix accordingly following the instructions on page 8 or return to the installer for service.

    No. Adding air springs will not change the weight ratings (GAWR, GCWR and/or GVWR) of a vehicle. Exceeding the GWVR is dangerous and voids the Air Lift warranty. Q . Is it necessary to keep air in the air springs at all times and how much pressure will they need? The minimum air pressure should be maintained at all times.
