ABOUT THIS GUIDE This guide details the instructions required to install the components of the JAYCOMMANDPlus / TravelLINKPlus system in the RV. Installation of the system should only be performed by a suitably qualified auto technician. Please read these installation instructions carefully before installing the system in the RV.

THE NODE INSTALLING THE NODE The Node may be installed in the RV in any orientation. Securely mount the Node to any suitably strong surface within the RV using the four, pre-drilled mounting holes and four, #8 screws. WIRING THE NODE Use of Node inputs and outputs is model specific.

Mini Node Powering the Node To power the node, install two 30A fuses, one each for SYSTEM POWER and MOTOR POWER at the Power Supply’s positive terminal.

Floorplan configuration files are shared by BMPRO via a customer SharePoint Portal. If you need any assistance on accessing these files, please contact BMPRO. To load the floorplan files from a PC to the Android device: Download the files from the portal to your PC.

Connect the Android device to the PC via the USB cable provided for charging. Open the file storage location where the files were stored when they were downloaded from the SharePoint Portal.

Select the floorplans required on the Android device. NOTE: Use the SHIFT or CTRL keys to select multiple files. Right-click the floorplans and select copy. On the PC, open File Explorer. Select THIS PC. All file locations will be displayed. Open the Android device file location.

Select Download as the file location. Right-click and select paste. The configuration files will now be stored on the Android device.
PAIRING YOUR DEVICE TO THE NODE To pair your device to the Node: Open the JAYCOMMANDPlus/TravelLINKPlus app on your device Press the pairing button on the node. This will activate the pairing process on the Node for 30 seconds PAIRING BUTTON Follow the prompt on your device to pair to the node.
CONFIGURING THE NODE Loading an External Floorplan From the RV Configuration screen, press Load External Floorplan to open the file storage location for the floorplan files. From the window that opens, select the floorplan file location. Select the correct floorplan from the folder.

You will be prompted to select the options for the floorplan. When you have made your selections, press Next. Floorplan options can be completed or changed later from the Controller. Enter the UNIT NUMBER or the last 8 digits of the VIN. This can be found on the NODE nameplate.

To unpair the configuration device from the Node: From the App home screen, select the settings icon. Press Bluetooth Connection. Press Unpair. The Node will now be configured and ready to use. Mark the Node with the unit number entered in the step 5 above (you may use a piece of masking tape on the Node with the unit number on it).
THE CONTROLLER INSTALLING THE CONTROLLER The Controller should be installed inside the RV in an area where it will not be subjected to spills or splashes from water or other liquids. 188.91mm 100mm Cut a rectangular area 81mm high x 100mm wide at the centre of the proposed controller position.
INSTALLING THE RV CONTROL PANEL To install the RV control panel: Cut a hole in the wall to allow for the CAN cable connectors at the rear of the control panel to go through. Using 4 x #8 screws, fix the back plate onto the wall, making sure to position the opening in the back plate over the hole for the cables.

Select any optional extras. Press Next. Enter the UNIT NUMBER or last 8 digits of the VIN if it is blank. Press Confirm to complete the RV configuration.
SWITCH INSTALLING THE SWITCH To mount the Switch: Using two #8 screws, fix the Switch back plate onto the wall. Clip the Switch button pad onto the back plate.
PAIRING THE SWITCH TO THE NODE USING THE CONTROLLER To pair a Switch to the Node using the Controller: In the page navigation sidebar, at the bottom, select the settings icon. At the bottom of the settings menu, select Pairing External Bluetooth Devices.
PAIRING A SWITCH TO THE NODE USING THE CONTROL PANEL To pair a Switch to the Node using the Control Panel: Double press the Bluetooth pairing button on the control panel. The button will flash to indicate pairing mode. Press any 2 buttons on the switch at the same time. Confirm pairing by activating an output from the switch.
UPDATES UPDATING NODE FIRMWARE Updates to the Node and Controller can be initiated over-the-air from the Controller. If there is an update available, and your system is connected to Wi- Fi, a notification to update the Node will appear in the top right-hand corner of the app.
CHANGING THE DATE AND TIME ON THE CONTROLLER Ensuring time is correct on the Controller is important when using Quiet time with the Auto Generator Start. In the page navigation sidebar, at the bottom, select the settings icon. Select Date and Time from the menu. Enter the correct date and time and confirm.
