A "Menu" the menu has 2 main pages. Press 1x for page 1 and 2x for page 2. Pressing "Menu" again will return to page 1. Press the "Esc" (H) to
return to "Home Screen" In pages, more functions can be selected with buttons E, F and G.
B "DIR" in "Home Screen" "UP / DOWN" adjusts the volume and "LEFT / RIGHT" fine tune the RX frequency in 10Hz steps. In the menu items
the "DIR" keys are used to navigate.
C "ENTER" to "select", "confirm" or "yes" on various options.
D "POWER" switches the radio ON / OFF. Press once = ON, press and hold 2s = OFF, Password when programmed is required.
E "LIGHT" display and keypad backlight or quick access selection.
In "idle screen" pressing 1x to turn light ON / OFF. To keep the light ON, press "Light" a 2nd time while switching on.
F "CH+ / CH-" channel change keys. Navigate through saved channels or quick access selection.
G "MUTE" Radio squelch "enable" / "open" indicated by [S] or [V] on the display screen under the speaker icon or quick access selection.
H "ESC" for "back", "cancel" or to select "NO"
I KEYPAD used for frequency input, typing messages and short cut keys from the home screen as explained below.
J Auxiliary Connectors for I/O's
K Satellite Positioning / Synchronisation antenna (GPS)
L Modified BNC-female in M24 threaded brass antenna connector 50Ω
M 6-Way sock, I/O for Handset, Headset, Intercom (PTT, Microphone, SPKR)
N Built-In Microphone, select via menus. PTT with "0" to operate without handset/headset.
P EXT Speaker Plug, 7Watt output drive, selectable via menus.
