A Menu has 2 main pages.
Press Menu once to view Page 1 and twice to view Page 2.
Press Menu again to return to Page 1.
Press Esc (H) to return to Home Screen .
B In the Home Screen: Press Up/Down keys to adjust volume; Press Left /Right keys to change RX frequency in 10Hz steps.
In the Menu Screen: Press Up/Down/Left/Right keys to navigate.
C Enter: Select/Confirm option displayed on screen.
D Power: Power the radio ON / OFF; Short press = ON, Press and hold 2s = OFF; Password required upon power-up (if configured).
E Light: Display light and keypad back light; Quick access selection F1.
In Home Screen: Press Light key once to toggle light ON / OFF.
To keep the light ON, press Light key again while light is on.
F CH+ / CH- : Change channel (or) Navigate through programmed channels (or) Quick access selection F2/F3 respectively.
G Mute: Radio squelch "enable"/"open" indicated by either [S] / [V] on display screen under speaker icon (or)
Quick access selection F4.
H Esc: Go back to previous screen (or) Cancel (or) Select NO.
I Keypad: Enter frequency (or) Enter message (or) Short-cut keys while in idle screen (see next page under Keypad Layout and Legend).

Multi-pin I/O connector utility socket.
K
GPS antenna (If fitted).
L
Modified BNC - M25 Antenna connector (50Ω).

6-Way Audio socket: I/O for Handset/Headset/Intercom (PTT, Microphone, SPKR).
N Internal MIC and speaker (configurable via the Menu); Press 0 (PTT) for handset free operation.
O Squelch on top panel.
P Volume Up / Down on top panel.
