17. Iftheoperatorleavesthecablewinchwhilealoadfloats,thehazardareaunderneaththe
loadmustbesecured.
18. Cablewinchescanbeusedonlytohoistandlowerloads.Transportationofpersonsis
prohibited.
19. Itisimperativetopreventtheloadfromgettingcaughttopreventoverload.
20. Theloadtobetransportedmustalwaysbesecuredandfastenedtotheattachment

atleastonceeveryyeal.
10.1 Intermittent rating
ThiscablewinchisdesignedforoperatingtypeS320%-10min(periodicintermittentoperati-
on).Therelativedutycycleis20%,whichmeansthatthedevicecanbeoperatedatratedload
for2.0minutesduringeachoperatingcycleandmustthenbeswitchedofffor8.0minutesto
cooloff.Thedevicecanthereforebecontinuouslyusedforadurationof20%ofthetotalope-
ratingcycleof10minutesatratedload.
10.2 Overload
1. Thecablewinchisnotsuitableforcontinuousoperation.Themotorisprotectedfrom
overloadandoverheatingbyatemperatureswitch.
2. Ifthepermissibleoperatingtimeisexceeded,themotortemperaturewillincreaseand
thetemperatureswitchwillshutthecablewinchoff.Thetemperatureswitchwillautoma-
ticallyswitchbackonafteracoolingphase.
3. Incaseofastrainonthecablehoistwithalesserload,theoperatingtimewillincrease
andthecoolingtimewilldecrease.
4. Attention!Incaseofdirectexposuretosunlight,thetemperatureofthecasingwillincre-
asesignificantly,whichwillalsodecreasethepermissibleoperatingtime.Itistherefore
possiblethatthetemperatureswitchwillswitchoffafterashorttimeperiodandthe
cablewinchwillshutdown.Pleasewaituntilthedeviceiscooledoff.
11. Operation
1. Priortostartingwork,pleasebesurethatthesteelcableiswoundupexactly,layernext
tolayeronthecabledrum.Neverunwindthecablecompletely!Alwaysleaveatleast3
layersonthecabledruminordertopreventdamagestothecable.
2. Thecablewinchisoperatedusingtheoperatingpanel(dia.1,item10).Whenoperating
theupperpositionoftheswitch,theloadishoistedup.Whenoperatingthelowerpo-
sition,theloadislowered.Neverswitchdirectlyfromhoistingtoloweringorviceversa.
Alwaysstopthecablewinchpriortochangingdirections.
