The appliance should NOT be placed on a surface, or in the vicinity of objects, which can be damaged by heat, such as carpets, curtains, textiles or plastics. DO NOT use the appliance when placed in a closed cabinet. During operation, as heat is transferred away from the appliance, the surface that the appliance is placed upon as well the surface immediately above or adjacent to it may become very hot.

During the period of heating/boiling (and immediately after), high temperature steam may be emitted from the Steam Vent or Spout. To avoid scalding: DO NOT: • fill the Water Tank with hot water; • fill the appliance with less than the minimum or beyond the MAX mark on the Water Tank to avoid overflow of hot water;...
HOW TO USE Filling the Water Tank Place the appliance on a dry, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface. Damage to the appliance may occur if it is placed on an incline or decline. Lift the Lid. Pour water into the Water Tank until it reaches the MAX line. Place the Lid back into position and press the Lid Handle to lock it tightly to the Water Tank.
HOW TO CLEAN Switch the wall switch OFF and unplug the power cable from the wall socket and the Connector from the Base Socket. Hold the Lid Handle and lift the Lid carefully as it will be accompanied by a sizeable amount of hot of steam with droplets of hot water dripping down from the Lid.
However, if the customer still requests that the defective appliance be repaired, PowerPac Electrical Pte Ltd may, at its discretion, repair the appliance but impose a labour charge, as well as the costs of the replacement parts, to be borne solely by the customer.
