The appliance should NOT be placed on a surface, or in the vicinity of objects, which can be damaged by heat, such as carpets, curtains, textiles or plastics. DO NOT use the appliance when placed in a closed cabinet. During operation, as heat is transferred away from the appliance, the surface that the appliance is placed upon as well the surface immediately above or adjacent to it may become very hot.

• heat the Hot Pot by any other means, e.g. heating directly on a gas stove, as the Cool-touch housing can be deformed as a result; • slide the Control Knob too forcefully so as to avoid any damage; • leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.
HOW TO USE Place and use the appliance on a dry, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface. Add the food ingredients into the Hot Pot and add suitable amounts of water, if required. As pouring liquids into an empty container is dangerous (the container may be very hot and this may cause the liquid to splash out), always pour water or soup into the Hot Pot first before switching on the appliance Slide the Control Knob towards the left to ‘OFF’...
HOW TO CLEAN Switch the wall switch off and unplug the power cable from the wall socket. Allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool. Clean the Glass Lid thoroughly with hot water & dishwashing liquid with a non-abrasive sponge. DO NOT use corrosive cleaners or a steel brush to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
However, if the customer still requests that the defective appliance be repaired, PowerPac Electrical Pte Ltd may, at its discretion, repair the appliance but impose a labour charge, as well as the costs of the replacement parts, to be borne solely by the customer.
