This guide describes how to set up your phone and provides a brief overview of its features. Start by configuring an extension in the phone system. For information about configuring an extension, see the FortiVoice Administration Guide. For more information about your phone, see the FON-W80B User Guide.

Install the battery Remove the back cover using the notch on the bottom left corner. With the notch of the battery facing up, place the battery into the battery compartment. Align the back cover with the phone and press down on all sides until secure.

Connect the charging base Using the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable, connect the USB-A end to a 5V/2A power source. Note: Charging with a USB-C to USB-C power delivery cable is unsupported. Connect the USB-C end to the charging base. Place the handset in the charging base.

Install the protective case Align the protective case over the phone. Click the case into place. Charge the phone without the charging base Using the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable, connect the USB-A end to a 5V/2A power source.
